WA:WA man gets five years for bashing death

PERTH, Feb 28 AAP - A Western Australian man who pleaded guilty to causing the death
of his partner by repeatedly bashing her has been sentenced to five years' prison and
denied parole.
Lincoln Warra, 37, pleaded guilty in the WA Supreme Court in December 2010 to one count
of unlawful assault causing death.
His 37-year-old partner was found dead in the couple's Kununurra home, in WA's East
Kimberley, in November 2009.
