Qld: Authority yet to issue brothel licence
Queensland's Prostitution Licensing Authority has yet to approve a licence since starting
operations last July.
Registrar MARGARET ISAAC says no licences have been issued because the authority wants
to be extremely thorough in its probity inquiries.
Ms ISAAC says the authority has received applications from Brisbane, as well as northern
and western Queensland, but she can't confirm how many have been received.
