Fed: PM says firebugs should be left to rot in jail.
KEVIN RUDD says firebugs who deliberately wrecked havoc on Victorian communities on
the weekend should be allowed to rot in jail.
The death toll from the state's bushfire disaster now stands at 181 .. and at least
78 people have been injured .. 32 of those with severe burns.
Speaking on the Seven Network's Today Tonight program .. the prime minister said he
wanted to underline his previously stated views on arsonists.
He says if convicted .. they're guilty of mass murder .. and he believes they should
be allowed to rot in jail.
